Pitching your startup is something that you will ALWAYS have to do. Not just when it’s fundraising season, but you’ll need to pitch your company to potential employees, potential customers and just in general networking situations when folks want to know, “So what does your company do?” This event is going to include two parts.
Part One: A great Q&A with some incredible speakers about the basics of a pitch and what goes into creating a clear and concise elevator pitch for an investor. In other words, how can you create such a great 60-second pitch that the investor wants to learn more about what you’re working on?
Part Two: We’re giving you the mic. We’re looking for a few founders to raise their hand and give us their best 60-second pitch live during this event. You’ll receive feedback from our speakers AND your fellow attendees will walk away with real life examples on what to do (and not do) when pitching their startup to investors.
This event is going to be great for first-time founders of all industries. The goal is to prompt you to really think about how you’re delivering your 60-second pitch and if the points you’re valuing the most in those 60 seconds are the most valuable to include.
Are you looking to get the most out of the event? Write down your 60-second pitch prior so you can reference it during this session. We’d love to see your before and after pitch!
